The Lion and the Lamb.

So we have all heard the Statement: "The Lion shall lie down with the lamb". We have all heard it used by pastors and teachers alike. But where is that verse found in the Bible? Word for word it is not in the Bible. However, there are two verses very similar that I think it has been taken from.
~Isaiah 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

~Isaiah 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

So while at some friends house I saw the following and thought of that popular saying with a little different take on it. I guess we must be getting closer to the end if we have resorted to the dog and the rabbit. :)

Wow! Great post! We are getting closer to the end. Paul said he was living in the end times and that was a long time ago. Each day that we live it is getting closer. I think your comparison is rather funny! :)
